Im also a HRT fan have you seen them Awsome. Much better than mamby pamby V8 Euro Tourers. These Aussie racers are brill with the commentators to match. Racing is not a contact sport. Oops nobody told the V8 supercars. 5.0 Litres of V8 heaven.

For those of you who do not know what Im babbling on about. Look at Motors TV V8 supercars.

Another new member, welcome to Pistonheads. Are you an Hsv owner or a fan or both?

There are a couple of 2000 spec V8 supercars sitting in a garage in Abingdon being modified for use as track day cars....

Not an owner just a fan I have a Lotus Carlton at moment but selling it. I also have SD1 4.6 Rally Car Very quick but a bit big. I just love the Holden concept of lets take a 1.8 carlton and shove a big V8 in it smacks of fun development.

It woul be nice to see the two track day cars. Let us know what you can.

I saw that racing last night too. Very exciting race. Lots of contact, lots of sliding about and lots of V8s. Wish they'd run such a formula here

Top racing, especially enjoyed Bathurst a few weeks back. V8 Ute's are hilarious, massive tailslide's all over the place!

Hi Miraz

Do you know any more about the 2000 spec race cars being prep' for track day use ?

If only our touring cars were as exciting as the V8's !
