Monaro overall width
Discussion
The overall width of a Monaro without mirrors is 72.5 inches. The brochure doesn’t give the width including mirrors, but my garage is 84 inches wide and that leaves me about an inch or so either side of the extended mirror.
The mirrors do move back in slightly but not by much.

Monaro v vxr8 , vxr8 heavier and wider , the good thing the vxr8 wing mirrors fold in better , the monaro wing mirrors seem to half fold in , the vxr8 also slightly longer even more so with my maloo , getting out wise , screw some carpet to the wall by the drivers door to protect the door , I have a standard council garage , the monaro goes in without folding the mirrors , the maloo I’ve not tried as too long

It’s 6’6” mirror tip to mirror tip (unfolded), and 15’8” long
Thanks for your reply.
So Monaros are a bit narrower than a VXR8 which is 6'10" wide, including door mirrors.
The reason I ask is that my VXR8 is tight fit for some of the roads near where I live, especially when some other drivers want to disregard the centre markings, and I thought a Monaro might be a less hair raising drive.
