Suggestions for someone to turn off VATS

Sadly the time has come to start breaking my 04 CV8 with a view to using the running gear as complete as possible in my '67 Camaro restoration.

To this end, I plan on using the standard ecu and would like to get the security / immobiliser turned off so that I can use a different ignition switch & key more befitting the older car.

I understand this can be done in HP Tuners and similar?

Thanks for any suggestions or recommendations for someone who could do this for me?

Other options are hide the key in the dash , or make key into a fob so you still have some security , so just remove the actual key blade from the monaro key , then use the age appropriate key , if it’s hidden in the dash then once parked up then remove , if it’s made into a fob then just needs to be near ignition to start

VSS is vehicle speed signal ?

VATS is the anti theft system most disable.

Should be doable by anyone with EFILive or HPT.

PCMHammer might also be able to do it

I wouldnt mess about with the factory ecu and wiring, especially if its all coming out the car anyhow. Itll probably disintigrate, there is so many good options now, that come complete with wiring harnessses that will be soo much easyer to put in and then tune at home if you decite to put a cam or whatever. Like the holley dominator, Haltech , ect You still gotta pay for the licence for HP or efi live.

Does the monaro have black roof handles ? If so Im after some
