Check Engine, low power mode

Hi, Any one in the Northampton area have a code reader and the knowlege to check for me my 2007 Monaro VXR code's, and tell whats wrong... Battery fully up to charge. Is it just the cold weather causing the problem. It resets and goes but in few miles,then it goes back to ,,check engine ,low power mode...???

Could be a number of things.

Is it still on the original throttle body? The only time my car ever went into limp mode was when the throttle body was on its way out. I think it’s fairly common for them to develop faults after a few years.

Yes It still has all original parts, except the exhast.

You really need the fault codes to confirm but given it’s still using the original, the throttle body is definitely a possibility.

I have EFIlive & a flashscan v2 and am in Northampton, so should be able to read the codes.
