Or should I say "K member" because 'murca...

Amazed that saves 85lbs as I didn't think the standard one even weighed as much as that but anyway, thoughts?

It comes with an aftermarket lower control arm, isn't the lower arm on our setup a torsion bar, so you'd presumably be changing the overall spring rate with that system? And likely geometry too as "aftermarket" in the USA generally means "dodgy"

I assume given the option to have it with no anti roll bar mounts, it's likely a mostly drag racing thing... A 40kg saving off the nose is pretty impressive though if true...

There's a lovely Aussie tubular rear subframe too that I've forgotten the link to...

That looks like it's missing any triangulation, and bends don't make good towers or structural members.

I'd be keen to save 40kg, but by the time you'd added the webs and cross bracing needed to get the strength and stiffness back into it, you'd have added a lot of that material back in.

I am sure I ready of issues with road (street) usage in the states where potholes and poor roads are concerned.
Lucky there are none of either over here, you cant have a pot hole on a unsurfaced track.

I suspect using that would result in an HSV that was not at all sturdy.

Showtime fabrications Is the one you don't remember ,I think.
But looking on their website I cant find it now.

They do do a lovely rear subframe with different diff height, adjustable arm location, ect.

Much better, as it has more adjustability, they also do a lovely rear subframe with different diff height, adjustable arm location, ect.
