Hi All.

Does anyone know if there are any companies which supply genuine VXR8 mudflaps to the UK please?

Many thanks in advance,

Paul.

Hi Paul
Try walkinshaw uk , on google there’s a company called Mymudflaps , me personally have always avoided them or in a few cases removed them from other cars , they often seem to be a mud trap therefore a rust trap , but your call

Thanks vxr2010.

I've tried Walkinshaw but will look into your suggestion.

I have Judd alloys on my VXR8 which sit wider than the lower section of the wheel arches. I was thinking of getting mud flaps to prevent paint damage to the lower body panels from stones etc being throw against them from the tyres.

On my maloo and apparently standard , it has a stick on clear plastic protection / cover on it , I think it would look a lot better than mud flaps , a car wrapping place should be able to help you , but of course your call

Adding to that , my maloo has 20 inch wheels which do stick out a bit but I’ve not noticed any damage, and I’ve had it quite a while now

My Monaro VXR has this but only on the rear arches, it's almost as if they knew I'd be driving hehe

They were already fitted to my Calais when I bought it. I kinda like the way they embellish the Old Man's Car image it already has...biggrin

As for genuine parts, there are a few available in Aus, for example...

Thanks for that.

Yeah, I know adding mudflaps/guards to a performance car doesn't quite project the same sporty image as a go faster stripe. smile
