Really need to get my Monaro on the road again been starting her up and moving around the yard but the steering is really heavy. It sometimes frees up once it’s warmed up and feels fine but doesn’t last long and back to heavy AF. Could this be simple as changing fluid? I’m starting to feel guilty as I’ve hardly had it out this last few months.
I keep using VXR8 when it’s a day out when I should be juggling the both of them.

Just fitted my vcm otr on the vxr8 today and under sealed it with lanoguard. Seems like good stuff.

Worth a go changing it , on the scoobies ( not sure on monaro’s) the normal process is suck the old stuff out of the reservoir with a syringe then re fill , start the car move the steering to let the fluid circulate , re do this about 5 times and most fluid should be fresh by then

Take the cap off run the car turn lock to lock. You’ve probably got air in there but also worth changing
