Wanted Monaro/Commodore D/S door lock barrel and key. I don't need the full key just the metal part for the lock and the barrel.

You have a good point, I have never used the key since buying my Ute and decided the other day to try it hence me thinking about other barrels. I should at least give it a try to get what I have freed up.
I do have a key blank already but thanks for the offer. I'll give it a good clean as that is probably what it needs since it has probably spent all it's life opened with the remote.

The locks are well known for being very stiff to open if the barrel is not often used , mine was kept in the garage and was fine , now kept outside in a few months the barrel is now playing hard ball , lots of wd40 you should be good
