I just went straight to Rock auto , I tend not to buy the cheapest one , the 05 and 06 6 litre monaro list the same part number , not fitted mine yet ,mines an 04 , get a full quote via the fed ex option and that’s your landed price , so that’s the shipping and import duties already paid , Rockauto is used a lot on here , try uk prices see the comparison , rock auto delivery normally around a week

When i had an issue with my driveshafts i sent them away for recon, If memory serves me right the joint are off the VAG group and easily overhauled. Someone like Shaftec or CPS Drivelink could do the job sure it was the latter who done mine. I have a spare shaft in the shed off my CV8. I bought a second hand shaft sent it away to be overhauled fitted it then sent the one that came off away to be overhauled then fitted that one.

I had these made for me by TopCats racing. Top quality, rifled shafts as used in their race cars, with Porsche CV joints.

You missed a trick there. Should have used different size shafts to cancel out axle tramp. Still very nice smile

Thanks Roger. I don’t have a problem with axle tramp with these. I think the Harrop diff cover and engine steady bar you fitted have have a much greater influence. wink

Hi Wormus

Would you mind telling me how much they were? Expensive I'm guessing? Would they supply standared ones?

Cheers

I honestly cannot remember but they weren't cheap. I'd advise having a chat with Warren at TopCats, he's a nice guy who's likes to help. They don't have a big stock of standard parts but they can make most things.
