VXR8/Insignia VXR towing

Morning people, does anyone know whether a tow bar can be fitted to the VXR8 or the Insignia VXR estate please?

I dont think it's possible on the VXR8 (not sure about the Insignia estate) as the tow ball would need the rear fog light to be removed.

There’s nothing stopping you from fitting a tow bar to a VXR8, they are used to tow in Australia and in America as the G8. You could buy a receiver style tow bar from an American or Australian website and fit it.

The issue you will run into is they aren’t approved for use in the UK/EU. I’m not sure if you can have a custom tow bar built to meet the spec. I have considered getting one fitted to the VXR8.
