A good car show coming up this weekend , normally a number of R8’s and monaro’s there , it’s at Sywell Aerodrome , it’s an old WW2 base so has a number of war planes on site , normally over the weekend you get a few fly by’s and it has a small museum on site , weather looking good , and there is camping

I'd be up for this, popped over to Sywell on Sunday in fact, but I'm going down to Surery Rolling Road as there's a bit of a Holden tuning weekend going on!

Can we just rock up at this event and pay at the gate? Could I display my Ro with the others that are there?

There's a few dropping in with kids who have to leave early so you'd not be alone there at least... Oh you mean moaned at by your passengers... hehe

I went on the Saturday and it was well worth going. There were hundreds of cars there, mostly Vauxhall-Bedford-Opels from the '60's to the '00s but several Monaros and VXR8's were there as well.

I took loads of photos I'll post them later when I've sorted them smile

Fantastic photographs, and honestly I love all of those old cars.
I also have to salute the dedicated owners for their hard work and keeping those great cars on the road yes

Top pics, thanks for posting. Loving the Firenza and Shoveit. Some of my old mates from the Opel Manta Owners Club were there too, as I saw in the pics. Stand out one for me (apart from Ro's and VXR8's obvs) is the car I always lusted after, the Opel Ascona 400 lick
