Silverstone GT Round Aug 14th - Driving from Southampton

Is anyone meeting in Southampton on Sunday morning and driving up to Silverstone?

Would be good to drive up in a group.

Strife: I was planning on making my way up after work on Sunday Morning after calling in at Blackbush Market for a bacon buttie or two. Could meet up with you somewhere along the A34 if you like. I assume that's the way you're going.

yorkkie: No tickets as yet. I'm sure Stu will have them to us before the end of the week.

Anyone know what time the event starts on Sunday?

I suggest for Southampton's pick up point, The Mayflower Park at Town Quay on the Water Front.

Don't know what time is best, just know it's early :-)

I had a tyre self destruct so I'm just waiting for the new ones to come into the local dealer for fitting on friday. I'll be able to join on the A34 at Abingdon if u have a convoy going... wot time you swingin past? Plan B which I hope does not eventuate.. anyone from south with two spare seats if my tyres aren't done by Fri night? (I can't go up there with my yellow bicycle wheel on!)

Yes I'm going & Yes Please I would like a lift in a Holden !, Have £10 for petrol.

Can someone pick me up at the Royal Mail Car Park,(2nd entrance on right) next to the Southampton Airpot.

It is a good spot to meet & close to the M27 & M3.

The Brooklands Suite opens at 9.00am so up to you guys what time we meet in Southampton.

P.S can Paul & Duncan please bring my AMC Mags along I miss them

I'm in Essex (Nr the M11/Stansted airport) but I might come down to Southampton tonight to join the cruise up to Silverstone on Saturday morning - I hardly ever see any Monaro's on the road - yet alone hsv's! - so it'd be nice to join in.

Do we have any Monaro/HSV owners in Essex?
