Another Monaro joins the 100,000 mile club
Discussion
I know there are plenty of cars on here well past the milestone but my CV8 has just rolled over 100,00 miles and is still going strong.
I bought the car 5 years ago and have put nearly 50k miles on it in that time. Apart from the usual age-related wear and tear issues the car has been rock solid.
To celebrate I think it's time to finally replace the stock exhaust with a decent stainless system
Roll on the next 100,000 miles!

Good stuff, glad to hear it's being used
I can't believe you've lasted 50,000 miles without an exhaust, you've missed out!
Cheers, I've been waiting for the stock exhaust to rust out so I'd have a good excuse to replace it. Amazingly the original pipes are still in pretty good nick, especially as the car sees all weathers all year round. I can't believe you've lasted 50,000 miles without an exhaust, you've missed out!
Happy to see use of the car being celebrated. So long as it's being looked after, it's better than the typical garage showroom piece. I can well understand why most UK Monaros don't cover many miles with them generally being used as a toy as a second car. That said, once I collected the figures I was still surprised quite how little many cars are driven.
There's definitely some reticence for use as the 100k mark approaches, but once passed owners seem to stop worrying about mileage so much.
