Hi guys, sadly I have a broken front spring. I was about to MOT and tax it, so that's on hold!
I'll take the opportunity to change it all out accordingly, starting with the front.
Obviously, I need springs, shocks, top mounts and bearings. I've already got new top plates that are known to rust out.
My mine question to those with experience, what other bits might I change? What condition do the rubber bump stops and gaitors tend to be?
Not interested in coilovers, so seems my options are limited to Pedders?
Any advice or opinions welcome.
Thanks...

Cheers guys, I have spoken to Roger at Pedders, very helpful indeed.
Reckons the bump stops are pretty much always fine, and the gaitors are pretty robust too. We will see. smile

Well done having some top plates – it was the rusting through of mine and being unable to find replacements that forced my hand into coilovers. TBH I wasn’t keen for coilovers on another car but TBH have been very pleasantly surprised. Pedders Extreme XAs. I know VXR8 owners don’t rate them much, being too hard/harsh on that application, but the Monaro kit seems much better suited. Roger convinced me at the time that they’d be fine and he was right.
