Right Indicators All Stuck On
Discussion
Need some advice guys. All of the indicators on the right side of my car after taking my Ro out today are stuck permanently on. I thought it might be that the bonnet wasn't closed properly but that wasn't it. I went round the car, opened all of the doors and bonnet and boot and shut them all one by one, but to no avail as back, side and front indicators all down the right side all are stuck permanently on. Any ideas? Clearly I can't drive it like that. Help appreciated please all
I've not experienced it yet but recall it being mentioned before that the relay is built into the bcm and soldered in. I think i may have a pdf somewhere with instructions but will need to track it down .

Yes, I too did think it might be built into some sort of electronic module, instead of being a cheap stand alone flasher relay as fitted to older cars. Lets hope not because that might complicate things.Quick google returned this

99PBATR - try pulling the battery first. It might reset something that is stuck.
Found the instructions

The yanks seem to have more problems than us with the BCM, and the wiring going to/from it. Although they sold in vastly largely numbers and the wheel is on the wrong side, so perhaps it's more related to that.
Hope it's a simple fix, although if it is soldering something it's not the worst thing in the world, when I took my dash out to replace the green LEDs with blue, I'd never done any soldering before and even the surface mount stuff isn't too difficult, just don't get it too hot and it'll be fiiiiiiiine (probably)

The issue is sourcing the relay....zero available in the UK by the looks of it and a nightmare to source from outside the UK or they want you to buy about £200 worth.....help!
Just stumbled across this they had 2 in stock so I've ordered one for the spares cupboard so only one left https://abacusalarms.co.uk/alarmshop/accessories-s...

Its not the stalk is it ? I've replaced two on my commo.
Well here's the thing. I thought it might be a faulty bonnet catch sensor as I know if you leave the bonnet slightly open it leaves the indicators on. However I discounted this yesterday by opening every door inc bonnet and boot lid and shutting them in sequence. It left all the drivers side indicators on permanently on as opposed to blinking. To try and clear this i tried the stalk. The offside indicator works fine on the stalk but the drivers side was stuck on. Then I tried the hazards and it then cancelled the lot. However when I went to lock the car to put it away the nearside indicators were all stuck on again and nothing would turn them off. So I had to disconnect the battery. Me and my mate are going to have a look at it over the weekend. Would this register as a fault code on an OBD?

A huge thanks to L2VXR for his tip off. I bought the remaining one (sorry misunderstood your original post). What's listed below I think maybe helpful to many of you as alternatives, as they are the same pin out as the original:https://abacusalarms.co.uk/alarmshop/accessories-s...
Replacement pcb mounted 5 pin relay for many automotive applications. This relay is no longer being manufactured by Tyco or Siemens as such the American Zettler relay will be sent as a replacement, this item is a direct replacement part for all the relays listed bellow & will rectify sticky contacts causing the constant battery drain problem.Do not confuse this relay with the V23072-C1061-A308 which has different pin contact positions.
This device is the equivalent to & can replace the following relays; (In ref to the original part)
Tyco V23072-C1061-A408
Tyco V23072-C1061-A208
Tyco V23072-C1059-A208
Song Chuan 861-2A-C-U01-12VDC
Picker PC517-1U-12S
Hongfa HFKM 012-SHS
Siemens V23072-C1061-A208
Click here for the Datasheet (pdf)
Applications include:
Fixes sticky indicator lights on a Holden VZ Commodore, replaces relay on the BCM (Body Control Module)
Holden Calais, Monaro, HSV, Statesman & Caprice (BCM modules)
Vauxhall Monaro BCM mudule
Fantastic glad you got it and hope it fixes the problem though obviously check out all other fault possibilities before you rip the bcm apart. From the description and from what I've read it does strongly suggest the common fault.
On the rely front i think a bit more detective work would uncover that these relays are common place in other vehicle systems and the fact that these part numbers are no longer manufactured is only because they have been superseded with updated models with different part numbers. I have sent enquirie forms off to ZETTLER and Farnell for a cross-reference number but i doubt they'll respond unless i say i want to buy a 1000000 of um
