Hi all, I'm new to this group. I've had my Monaro a few years now. I have a problem with the stitching on the seats which is pulling apart. All the seats will either need to be recovered/stitched or replaced.
A few years ago I remember a guy I think in Norfolk that was breaking about 5 monaros. Can anyone tell me if he still is and if not some advise as to how and where I can solve this.
Thankyou in advance
Dave

Is it all the seats? or just the rear upright which is common?
If so, the rears come out super easy in which case just take to a decent local trimmer who'll soon sort it out.

Dont go buying any more seats theres a 99% chance theyll be the same anyways

its an issue with the age and sun and white , black doesnt have the same issue.

best to get a local trimmer to put right

as above local trimmer or do it yourself as it just needs the thread replacing so a good cotton or something of that type and re thread through the old holes , to remove the hard central section the top and bottom pull out , be careful as it’s leather strips on polystyrene , the bottom part of the seat has plastic pullers underneath it , then there are two bolts in the frame at the bottom of the back of the seats then they lift off upwards
