I have just spent a long time fitting a switchable exhaust to my Ro. One thing that occurred to me today was that I will clearly have to add this as a named mod to my policy. Has this caused any issues for anyone with this mod being added, as I know someone told me that technically it's illegal but someone else told me its not. I don't want to invalidate my insurance by not declaring the mod as all my mods are declared with Adrian Flux.
Any advice would be appreciated guys.......

I had a Wortec switchable, I just had it as an aftermarket exhaust on the insurance, didn't think much more about it to be honest...

As above, if you’ve declared an aftermarket exhaust I would imagine you’re fine..

I agree with the above, an aftermarket exhaust is an aftermarket exhaust so i would imagine you are fine....but for peace of mind it might be worth talking with Adrian Flux, they're the only ones who will be able to tell you exactly.
