Hi, Does anybody know where to get a concave mirror for offside of my 2007 Monaro VXR.

any one point to where people are on faceache.....

Is it the whole mirror glass you're looking for? I gave up looking and stuck one of those blind spot mirrors along the bottom of my Monaro side mirrors - big improvement in coverage. Pic a few posts down in this topic: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Many years ago, a member did a bulk buy from the USA of the Pontiac GTO mirror glass.
ie. A Pontiac passenger door mirror equates to a UK Monaro driver's door mirror, giving a wide field of view
Have a look at USA websites for the Pontiac GTO passenger/right hand door mirror.
Method to prise off the the mirror glass from the head is adjust the mirror to maximum up, then insert a large flat bladed screwdriver through the square hole underneath the protruding lower edge of the mirror glass, twist firmly and it'll release. Be brave! It's fairly tight.

i got a 2nd hand full gto mirror a while back and swapped the glass over .

Thanks for all the imformation,will be helpfull. Even with the problems It has, I find the RO better to drive than the GTS so after the brakes are fettled might try to get a wriggle on sometime and really try it!!!

Bought mine from here and it's a vast improvement over the factory flat mirror.

If you just want to get rid of the blind spot, just press button until limit reached on out movement then just press the mirror by hand inwards at the very outside position. This will cause it to click a further two notches on the control mechanism .

Now blind spot is gone and now every time I adjust mirror it goes to the new no blind spot position.

Far cheaper and quicker.
