Bad misfire recently on supercharged car - such that very light throttle was the only way to drive - and no further than I had to...

Tried re-seating leads - suspected them, or plug(s). Plugs looked ok for gap, but still couldn't shake it.

So one more trip round the block, home, bonnet up and started touching the header tubes (lightly!)

No.7 primary nowhere near a hot as the rest - swapped plug out, perfect. Made me smile that such a simple test could locate the problem so effectively and quickly!

Ordered new leads anyway - they don't seem to last that long on these...

Plug looked as good as the rest - ngk cooler heat range.
Will swap them all out when I get the new leads.

I had this but it turned out to be a broken valve spring. Lucky I had dual springs and it didn’t drop into the cylinder.

That looks coilbound, lucky you were saved.
