Its a car on eBay, motor trader selling it, red manual with wortec system on it. Still has Vauxhall badges, 122k on it.

Seller states no expense spared, but has undergone full engine rebuild at some point.

It was on eBay a few weeks ago at around 14k, now starting bid at 10.5k

Question, Would you avoid due to engine rebuild?? To me that means either poor servicing or thraped?

I don't think I'd avoid just because of the rebuild, but I'd want to know more.
The LS2 is a good strong engine, but ANY engine can get unlucky and have a major failure, doesn't mean the car has been thrashed to within an inch of its life. Its also nearly 15 years old.
I'd be wanting to know who did the rebuild, what exactly was done and how long ago. If it was done a good few thou ago that would be a good thing as its had time to prove good.
Might be a bargain if could be scored for £10.5k!

oil pressure relief valves are known to stick.. couldve been due to that.

There’s a black manual one on eBay, disappeared from add recently but has now come back on. Desperate to sell as space needed.

Not sure about the mustang bonnet vents, look a bit chavvy when you enlarge the pics, Halfords specials🤭

Not keen on the aftermarket wheels and ditch finder tyres?

Could use as is for a while and change things as you go I suppose?

Engine rebuilt 4K ago by LS1 boost performance.

Not somewhere I’ve hear of and can’t seem to find any reviews although their website would suggest they know there stuff?

That's a cheap R8, I would have made serious enquiries if I was looking for an R8 on a lower end budget.
