Looking LS1 engine cover brackets

Hi all, new to the forum, owned my Monaro Vxr since 2014 and have browsed the forum from way longer than that. Recently noticed a petrol smell when accelerating and took off the turtle shell engine cover and on replacing managed to break one of the bolts. Just wondering if anyone who had their cover removed may have the brackets I need. Happily pay as they are like hens teeth to find.

If it's metal it can be repaired.

Braze or weld another bolt to the bracket.

i drilled the old one out and put a nut and bolt in its place . simple easy fix

Thanks for all the responses everyone , it’s great to hear from you all, I very much appreciate it. Will try the drilling out method, when I get some time. Yes have the big boot Monaro, build no.3. Over in sunny Belfast!
