Evening All,

The insurance will soon be up for renewal on the Ro. I usually get a reasonable deal from my current insurer but this year their price is stupid, seemingly for no reason, so could you guys recommend who you use? Mine is modified with a charger, Pedders and Wortec exhaust and headers.

Who you with?

For years I had 2 modified policys with Adrian Flux, then they wouldn't insure me on the Porsche so I went with LV. Recently sold my modified daily diesel and cancelled with AF.

Rang them back for a quote on the SAAB and they were 2x the price of Esure (mods declared).

What I would do is go on a comparison site, enter your mods, that will weed out the ones who wont quote.

Adrian Flux, HIC, Flux Direct are all the same company now I think.

Yes have done that on the usual suspects. The prices are laughable....

Try Admiral, they've been really good with me.
Last year I paid £386 for both my lightly modified Monaro and my daily Astra. Bargain, relatively so.

£103?! What are you like, 100 years old!laugh
What miles are you limited to on that?

Also notice your car is white now on the register thread, very nice. Is that a respray or a wrap?

£103...which part of the car was that for and how much for the rest of it? laugh I assume bone stock and never does more than 50 miles a year ! To be fair that is a crazy low price

The other good thing about A plan , when the 86 year old who really should not have been still driving crashed into me , A plan were really good , their battle was dealing with direct line who were hopeless and terrible at getting back , i chose who to do the repairs in this case Topcats who were very good , so i won’t be going any where else , no point having too cheap a price and no service
