Any ideas as to where I can find four of these for an 04 Monaro CV8? I just need the four for the lockers, not a full set!

Amazon?
Why bother with locking wheel nuts though?
More trouble than they're worth, I've not had locking wheel nuts for years!

They’re commonly available on eBay, as I was looking for some also. Some of mine were missing.

In the end, I decided to bin the whole lot, including the locknut, and replace them with some nice shiny wheel bolts

IMHO they look much better.

Also available in black

as above plastic caps can be bought on ebay , neither my cv8 or r8 had covers over the locking nut just the other four so maybe as standard it does not have a cover ?

I know this doesn't really answer your question, but I just removed my locking wheel nut and replaced with a regular nut and just got some new covers off eBay.

Thanks for the replies. The car lives outside and as I’ve just put four brand new good quality tyres on it I’m reluctant to bin the locking nuts just yet.

The problem I’ve found is that most of those I’ve seen advertised are not suitable for the Monaro - at least that’s what it says when you click on the list of cars they apparently fit!

I used empty 12 bore cartridge shells as covers the plastic stretches over the nut head and they stay put fine. .

I'd measure the approximate diameter of the locking nut and then just order some caps to suit.
For example if approximately 19mm then use something like this...

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Modern-20x-19mm-Car-All...

Cheap, and plenty spare if you lose a couple.

I ordered a full set (20) of genuine Vauxhall gun metal caps - 19mm, The '5th' pushed snuggly over the locking nut and has been fine.
Not sure if my locking nuts are the same as yours though.

There are OEM locknut covers on Ebay.
I can find silver and black but not chrome (Stainless Steel look) for the older cars.ie VT-VZ inc Monaro.

Putting two and two together and entering the part number in google comes up as a standard Corvette C4 wheel nut cap.
Coincidentally I have a friend who owns a C4 and he says they look the same.
He has Chrome caps on his car which he said were aftermarket from the US.
So raiding USA Ebay this time......

I accept no responsibility if this is all wrong!

They look nothing like the Monaro item.
At least the ones that come on the UK Monaro.
