Monaro 5.7 vxr steering rack required for mot
Discussion
The thing is this steering rack would be used on other GM vehicles it would not be bespoke to this car only. If we can find out what other vehicles use this rack and related suspension items parts would be a lot easier to find.perhaps Roger at pedders may know what other vehicles uses these items.

The Monaro was still effectively the VT/VX/VY/VZ platform, I'd be surprised if Australia wasn't making racks any more for such a vast array of their cars, but perhaps performance racks not so much...?Could be better off asking on JustCommodores.com.au or somewhere like that to find out what the Aussies do

Edited to add, in theroy i could still get racks, providing i return an appropiate "core". 2 issues, the rack going back would need to be the same ratio as the new one. So fitting a quick rack to replace the standard one isnt going to fly. 2nd, even assuming the "right" rack was going back, the costs, and logistics involved in this mean it would become expensive very quickly.
