I had a quick warranty visit to picadors yesterday, I had three pieces of trim replaced on the car,

1. The passenger footwell carpet had developed a tear.
2. The drivers seat track end cap replaced.
3. The upper B post door seal replaced(this is where the drivers door window frame closes on the B post)
To my amazment the parts which I think IMO are quite obscure, where ordered and available in Three days,(well done Vauxhall for having these trim parts available) I also resquested them fit the cigar lighter in the the front as i am fed up trailing the lead for the sat nav from aux power socket. This never turned up. So i give Picadors 8/10 on this one. But my main reason of the visit was for them to check out the bonnet fit, they agreed with me that the bonnet sits low about 1/4 of an inch at the rear towards the windscreen, so they said they would ajust it. When I pick it up a different service manager and mech tell me that they are all like it and can not be adjusted. They did not have any 05 models to compere with. So is there any 05 owners who feel the bonnet is fitting not quite as it should,

P.S was that Rob78 down aswell yesterday shame we never meet for a chat.

The 04 Monaros had terrible bonnet fit, I think there was about a 15mm gap at the front o/s compared to a 5mm gap at the n/s, made you think it had been in a shunt.

As for the bonnet fit I can't help you on that one.

But yes that was my car you saw there as I dropped it off Saturday morning.

If my bonnet is missing when I pick her up again I will know who's got it then

I was hoping for a bit more feed back from people with the 2005 model, but some panel fit issues seem to have been around from the 2004 models, it is something I will look into sorting out when time becomes avaible,

Rob78 your bonnet fit is beter than mine and that is a retrofit so I think mine can be improved, decided to leave your's as my touch up paint stick might not have been enough to cover the swap.
