Many thanks Stu for your hospitality.Much appreciated. [/quote]
Agree mate, & thanks again to Stu !
The car did do well mate, as you said when it was not set up for the event & geared very high.
The car takes some getting off the line with the tall dif ratio.
Peter Champion had to give it some big revs as WE left the start line to take the car back to the Paddock after the photo Shoot for Oct Street Machine Mag.
Yes
I got a ride
in the 1984 Bathurst winner,
:
Hay Trev.

So who's a very lucky, very jammy boy then? That must be you Rob. You've got more jam than a cows got ????
The A40 isn't,it's an A30. We used to call them the baby Austin. That's some baby he's got there!
Just read the article about it in U/Cs. Apparently the original was mashed at Oran Park in '96, and the new one is made up from bits of it. Hope it comes to Goodwood in September.
Trev mate,i'll send the mag,no worries. You can keep it it's a double.
Great weekend.

Sorry mate! My mistake, it is an A30.
I'm not jammy mate, just a True Holden Fan,
You would have never got a ride in it! Not with that Dirty mess & Foul language on your shirt Sunday, & I'm not talking Jam hay Trev
Brocky even commented about the choice of car on your tee shirt.
Peter said he would love to bring the A 30 over, if it qualified for the event.
It was built by James Brock for his Dad & from what Alex Brock (Daughter) told us; James is not only a very good driver, but also a great engineer.
Regards, Rob.

Hey Rob
If you had dried your eyes and stopped stamping your feet for long enough, you would have seen that I took that naughty t shirt off. I had to, 8 hours of you whingeing is too much for anyone. And you lot call us whingeing poms. Still,it had the desired effect eh mate. Wound you up a treat. Lovely jubbly!

Didn't notice it was gone, seeing you covered it up with the other top after Brocky had a go at ya.
Still had that Flamin hat on though hay mate
All good fun mate & pasted the time bye while those borring F1 cars were on & we where waiting for Brocky to run up the hill,
