Received this kit recently. It’s good quality, retains stock sensors fuel rails and injectors, and idle control. It’s got 55mm throttles, and the option of high mount fuel rails.
I will need to plumb a catch can and make a hole on the bonnet and a scoop. It can be bought with a carbon plenum if needed
Look forward to mapping it. I went for these as I am familiar with itb’s , having worked with bikes for a long time, and I know how well they work making a big cam drivable. The Throttle response Is just amazing now.

Cost is under a set of jenvys. And it fits right up. Cathedral port and rec port.
I’m not gonna name the website in case I’m accused of advertising, but details are in my YouTube clip, and I paid for the kit.
I was a bit dubious as I’d never heard of the company, but they’ve been doing kits for the BMW’s for sometime.
I got the first LS kit in the U.K. I believe. It’s manufactured in Taiwan and was shipped from there.
My mrs thought I’d bought a muffin baker 😆

Are you planning on mapping it yourself? Or just a rough tune to get it to the rolling road.

I'll be following with interest...

On a totally unrelated note I found this link to an Australian website scratchchin

https://racehead.com.au/product/ls1-itb-kit-cathed...

I think as you have no affiliation with the company then it isn't considered advertising thumbup

That is the website yes.
Looks like efi live should show up next week. Not sure if I’ll map it as yet, I’ll see how I get on with the software. It should only need more fuel, as I said it’s already on alpha N, mapped by Greg at Protuner, but he is very far From me. At least if I have it, I can send him logs or go to a local dyno.
I’m gonna give it a gentle drive into work tomorrow, To check how they seal/close when heated up.
The bonnet shuts without the trumpets. I need to re-plumb the evap into the idle block, and fit a catch can, then I’ve got a scoop Coming I’m Going to fit with dzus fasteners , so I can Make it reverseable and removable.

It does come with the fuel rails to do the high mount and apparently this gives a good few more ponies, perhaps I’ll try that later.

Once EFI turns up, you could just get rid of the EVAP and map out the light, just apologise to the polar bears etc. about the fuel vapors.

This thread needs more pics and video cloud9

I think I’ll keep the evap. It’s stinky enough out the tailpipe, without adding to it.

Well all good so far, and I got a small bit of video for you all below.
Dyno time Tuesday next week to put more fuel in.
Made the cut to the bonnet

In case you are wandering what’s going on with my wings, they were rusted from stonechips and I could only find right hand pattern ones. These are fibreglass ones from the states and were $160 the pair.

Can’t Seem find a scoop that I like ,the one I got didn’t look right . May just go with longer trumpets.

It deffo sounds like it needs tuning stick100 had the same trouble trying to find a nice bonnet shroud. I hope you have a waterproof sheet to cover the bonnet

I did get a scoop but it looks pants

I’m making a box type foam filter on the baseplate

It’s has a few hours of tuning now. It’s made 445, so a 25 gain up top and about 7ft/lbs lost at 3800.
Need to find my last graph to compare, they were both on dyno dynamics dyno, but different ones. Anyhow I did it to improve low and midrange response with the cam and that’s all good

You're right about that scoop yikes

Would a cowl not be a decent solution? I'd imagine there are some fibreglass jobbies aruond?

More importantly, how does it sound?! cloud9

Maybe you could lower the scoop by mounting it on to the throttle bodies, a bit like a shaker hood ?
Or modify a vz bonnet with the standard air scoops feeding air into the throttle bodies. You would obviously have to raise the bonnet profile slightly for clearance, quite stealthy in fact.
Just a couple of ideas anyway.

Sound ? I had to stand outside the building when he was doing full throttle runs 😆
