Just recently had some work done on Bruce. Fully polybushed front and rear, new tca’s, track rod ends, new rear discs and pads, new prop shaft bearing, top mounts and bearing etc etc. Got it fully aligned last weekend and then headed off for a week staycation in Ireland.

Put a couple of hundred miles up around rural country roads and I have to say it’s so much nicer to drive since the suspension refresh. A lot more stable under hard braking and doesn’t dive as much. I also can’t get tired of the v8 noise.

Anyways just thought I’d share a photo from the trip! I was taking photos of the car whilst my better half was trying to get me to take photos of her

Yea I love it. Poly bushes have definitely helped the car.
Oh and fitted a remote bleed for the clutch too. When I was doing it might as well go all out.

Bloody MOT is out now and in Northern Ireland the MOTs are meant to auto renew but mine hasn’t updated so it might be parked up again until they sort that mad

Where abouts in Ireland are you from? Looks like somewhere in NI with that plate?
I’m from Antrim.

My MOT auto renewed twice but now it’s due in February when the car will be off the road for winter. Not a major problem but an inconvenience nonetheless.

I live or spend my time between Derry and Donegal. Yea it’s on a UK plate alright, the tax in the Republic would be a joke on one of these!

Havn’t seen any other Monaros or VXRs over here but I know they are out there!

I have emailed them to see what the story is with MOT. I’m guessing it’s either because the last MOT would have been in England, but then car has been registered in N. irl since Dec 2019 so it should be on their system OR it’s because I changed over to my private plate last week just before MOT was due. Either way it better be sorted by the weekend or I’ll be driving the Fiesta van frown
