Most of you know that my baby is due in about 6 weeks and I'm selling the Monaro, but I know a few people browse the forum without venturing in the forsale section so I thought it was worth offering this bargain here too as I don't think you can get cheaper in the whole of the UK (£22,995).

Just to recap it's had the Linden Stage 2 exhaust mods and a Wortec remap so is hovering around the 410/415bhp area and is in showroom condition with about 8K miles on it.

More info here:

I won't leave you guys though, never met a nicer bunch !!

Can't believe my luck - two potential cash buyers were heading over to see me in the last few days & both were going to pop into their Vauxhall dealerships to have a test drive before visiting me.

Both got in touch so say they had been captivated by the salesmen & bought brand spankers from the forecourt !!! typical eh ?

Not strictly true...there are number of checks that are carried out to ensure that all is as should be (service manual details) the time taken to perform these has an on cost.

I would also suggest that 150 quid to service a 400bhp car is a bargain, ask an M5 owner etc. expecially when that service is from a main agent.

Totally agree Caspy, my Smart was approx. £120 for its first service & I think I got a bit of a discount as I knew one of the managers at the Merc. dealers!

And I thought the £10 for 'fuel additive' was a bit steep, especially as I only left mine with a fanny full of fuel in the tank, so I was running on almost neat cleaner for a while.. A good trick to make you think your car is running so much better after a service....

Is that your car marked up on the forecourt Caspy ? And if so can I have your brakes ?

You lot must all live close by if you keep seeing these cars on the forecourt!!! I drive past every day(or bike if its hot!) as I live and work local. Should all meet up around here soon, maybe the golf club??????

£150 is a bargain, took a few hours too as the steering wheel needed a bit replacing under warranty but it keeps the service book up to date. Anyway the main thing is they gave it a clean bill of health as you would expect.

Dan, congrats on the sale and someone is getting a bloody good car and bargain there. I was even tempted myself as I'm toyless at the moment. So if you now need 4 doors(and rest assured the patter of tiny feet is worth it) whats coming next?

Thanks Paul, you know I'll be back.

Talk about dodgy characters, both from Manchester, the locals must ave thought there was a drug deal going down - not that I'm stereotyping or anything
