Hi everyone,

I’m hoping there’s some HSV Holden owners active on this forum.

My dad recently passed away and he was a massive fan of the Holden HSV cars and loved to watch the Australian racing on the TV.

I’m wondering if anyone with a Holden would be willing to drive behind the funeral cars on the day of the funeral. The funeral will be held somewhere in Birmingham West Midlands. I haven’t got a date yet. I’m guessing it’ll be end of May or start of June.

If anyone is interested in helping me out, I’m willing to pay for fuel and compensate you for your time. Please respond to this post if you’d be willing to help and I’ll get back to you.

Thanks for reading.

Hi, sorry for your loss. I hope you have good support around you.

If I lived near you I would do. Hopefully someone comes on soon.

If you are on facebook look up VXR8 / Monaro owners UK and post on there too

Sorry for your loss mate, once you have a date put it on here and I may be able to help, surely there is a more local person can help.

Hi

Pleased to say that date sounds OK unless Covid 19 or other changes it.

Please forward your full name and your dads, with full address where the hearse is leaving from.
Also time the Hearse leaves the address with the coffin so I can work out a set off time from home,
then I can get there in good time.

Thank you
I KNOW THAT THE INFO YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE PUT ON FORUM, so click on my user name and the next page that comes on screen will say e mail in top right hand, send email via Piston Heads and I will get it

What a great honor it was to be part of the memory of Robert, a fan of Holden race cars as we drove our Holden cars with two minis to the Cremitorium .

What a great thing to do, were there many Holden's? Not that it makes a difference...

There was me in my Monaro and a R8 from Nottingham, both red.
