Rubber Donuts??????
Discussion
Pls forgive my obvious lack of knowledge, but could someone fill me in on what these rubber donuts are all about. They have come up quite a bit since I joined and seem like something that needs replacing quite often but no-one has given any clue as to what they are!!

the Donut you refer to is in fact the one on the prop shaft.
On the HSV's there is one at the union of the prop to the gearbox, it acts like a UJ but
unlike a UJ it is not as noisy and has a bit more flex to take the shock out of the drive train.
The Monaro has two donuts (one front and one rear).
The life span of the donut depends on how smooth you drive and how many mods you have done to the
power of the car.
Costs are around £150 each...........................
