Hi
A quick question, looked on the web site FAQ for monaro cv8 plugs, BCPR6ES-11. These come with a sealing washer.

ON removing the first one I find it has a tapered seat (no washer). Are they interchangeable?

Cheers Yoss.

Hi.
I seem to remember reading something about this.
I believe the flat faced washer type plugs are what gets fitted over here in the UK, the tapered seat plugs being a US thing.
Perhaps your plugs are original hence tapered, its a US engine after all.
In the search function type "Monaro plugs tapered", it will bring up plenty of threads relating to this. Read up and make your own mind up.

In short, I think you can fit 'normal' plugs.

It's to stop them forcing them into the piston crowns with their air guns.

Same, AC Delco 41-110, although I had to search for the part number because searching by vehicle brought up a different number for some reason.

I think there has been a number change recently as I was searching for them the other day and they were hard to find.
