Anyone have any languishing on Youtube, or never uploaded?

Here's one to start.

Myself getting beat by Leatherman's (Darryl Cassingham) unseemly rapid 'bolt ons only' auto cv8. 1 mile velocity: 165mph vs 160.

The Leatherman

I'm having trouble with this, the speedometer readings on your car are impressive, but the second 'Monaro seems to have effortless otherworldly performance.

The owner of the black car knows how to tune both the engine, trans and drive it well. Seems to pull three or four car lengths every gearchange.
Not a massive degree faster at the mile, but a lot quicker off the mark. 10hz GPS, so the speed is dead on and smooth.

It was still breaking traction at 190mph.

The unused surface and cold weather, had like a mossy coating which was pretty dangerous for most of the day.
Although later runs back on the 888's things did improve a bit.

Just a pity I never did any in car camera etc. After the first few of runs, I had no intention of running again as it was so bad, so never bothered setting up a camera.

It'll have to go to someone else, I'm afraid. I don't have a V8 any more.

It's a shame there aren't any competitive events any more.

Age creeps up on us Stevie! Well for me it does. I was actually looking at tuned ls7 intakes today, looking for the best. Then I thought fk it, fast is cool all day long. I don't need the fastest though.

Yes, which is why I'll use it. It's got lots going for it. I can't see any point in spending lots of money on an aftermarket item.

Someone did a great compilation too, one year. Was it one of the Supra boys?
Looks like an LPG filler on the rear wing by the light unit, so that is probably me. I'd already raised the ride height of the car to get it on my driveway since buying it, but it still looks quite low.
