2007 VXR8 heated rear window

Hey chaps, my car had 2 lines from the heated rear window not working in the lower part about spoiler height when I bought it almost 4 years ago. This autumn just started using rear window to discover about 4 lines have gone on the top section.
Now I thought the bottom one's could be damage from previous owners but the I know nothing has happened in that area since in my ownership.
Anyone else have this problem ?

i don’t know about it being a fault , but they do sometimes fail on other cars just through age and heat , it can be solved with a metal paint it’s about 15£ posted , it is on flea bay under “heated window repair “ you repaint the lines , it’s fairly easy to do, a fine brush helps to get it looking good
