Omega Door Handles and Rods

Hi,
I’ve got some sprayed Omega B door handles that didn’t come with rods and also some Omega B door handles with rods.
Technically according to the guide it’s a straight swap with the handles and rods.

I have an early big boot “VZ”, and the Omega B rods are the wrong angle when fitted.
I ended up using the normal Monaro rods and fitted them on the inside of the lug rather than the outside on the Omega ones.
To do this I’ve carefully cut the webbing back on the inside of the lug so the rod clip is flush.

Everything fits well now, just a reference if anyone gets stuck.

Here are the two offending items side by side. My Omega rods fitted just fine ( 04 Cv8 ) the pull on the handle is a but less to open now.
I did these earlier this year, the Omega handles are nearest ( if you can't guess from their general shiny preppedness. )
