Had to remove rear n/s lamp cluster for a bulb change, and one of the clips is broken (black one on the left in the photo below). I can't find one doing the usual searches so does anyone know where they can be got from, perhaps Vauxhall standard part? It's held on by an 8mm stud.

Here's the other side of the clip in isolation:

I should add that the cluster still be refitted and held on by the 2 screws but it is slightly loose on the outside and I'd like it to be correct!

It might be a standard GM part, Vauxhall you will have no luck whatsoever unless you can find a part number at which point you'd be better off with ebay etc. anyway.

From a quick look on RockAuto there's nothing obvious, Walkinshaw may be worth a call to see if they either know what it is or have them around, I don't have access to the workshop manual at the moment but that may at least have a part number somewhere as part of a diagram

I think there were links in the FAQs possibly scratchchin

Currently at ****, so the computer I am on does not like UK Ebay! 3am here!

When I put the part number into UK websites it sells me a Dyson motor!

Thanks, it gives me a part number anyway, and it's a GM clip, none I can see on ebay UK.

I see how it works now. The stud screwed into the cluster has a ball on the end which should rotate slightly, but it was a bit corroded. The clip is supposed to stay on the car.... frown

At $14 for one (!), I wonder if they'd put import duty on it. scratchchin I'll think about it.

$14 was for 2, and our Dollar is at whopping exchange rate at the moment so it probably adds up to 55p wink

I think there should be 2 fitted to each cluster. On mine, one has already been replaced with a sort of plastic guide (grey in the photo).

I was tempted to take the other side off to transfer one clip but there's a chance they'd probably break as well! frown

A small application of superglue will be tried first.

Apologies you're right. I checked it a bit quickly, the quantity is one, but it's for a pair...
