Hi all. Not sure if I should be posting this here but couldn’t find a new user topic.
Recently purchased a 2004 Monaro that I believe may be known by some of you.........
Phantom black, previous owner Dave, owner before that Ben.........
Anyway, just thought I’d say hi 👋🏼 and I’m looking forward to some meets/drive outs.
Cheers
Matt

No need to get it done again, they don’t do updates as such. It was mapped by Paul from Wortec who did a custom map to my engine and it’ll be good for the life of the car unless you change the cam again like I did. There’s a bill in all the paperwork that’s from NWJ Autocare that’s got the date on it for the cam change and remapping. Paul had the car for a couple of days to do cold starts and live mapping whilst he drove it and used it as his daily. Enjoy it and keep smoking those back tyres!
Edited to add: Its the later, more expensive bill. I had it remapped with the old EPS cam in it to try to fix all the dead spots that Ben had left in the map when he tried to map it himself using EFI live. I think the bill you want is around the £895 mark.

Nice to see Ben's car around again, lot of work went into that
Oh and welcome
Does it still have the white / orange interior lighting? I can't remember which he stuck with, think he and I are the only ones to have changed it from green

I’ve got orange footwell lights in mine. We’re the green as standard?

It's the dash and stereo etc. that was changed, white I think, I'd be surprised if he put all the green back in, some associated chunter from back then includes a pic from Ben of the white dash screensI’ve got orange footwell lights in mine. We’re the green as standard?

Ahhh. I see. Yes, all white in mine. I’m glad too. Can imagine it looking like an old Nokia phone if it was green! https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
