Pontiac GTO Clutch kit
Discussion
If you mean, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, and pilot bearing then yes it will fit. If you don't get the flywheel you will have to find out the size, although I suspect it will be the same.
I fitted an LS7 clutch kit to my car and it has a far better feel that the rather weak feeling stock version.
The LS7 will also take at least 550HP if needed, I really would not bother with the GTO set up TBH.

Mine is a bog standard 5.7 VXR with no mods in the pipeline.I fitted an LS7 clutch kit to my car and it has a far better feel that the rather weak feeling stock version.

I think you need to price up both kits, and see what the difference is. The LS7 kit will be a bit more expensive but not by much. When any car like the GTO had a warranty claim on the clutch GM used the LS7 as the replacement in any case.
The general opinion was that the standard Monaro / GTO clutch was only just up to the job. I remember years ago members on here used to complain about the standard clutch, the pedal would go to the floor and not returning properly, this happened during spirited road driving or track days, the only answer was an LS7 or even better clutch.
I forgot to mention with the clutch and flywheel removed check the seals on the back of the engine for any oil leaks....just in case.
You should also consider changing the release bearing and fit a quick bleed kit at the same time, they are worth there weight in gold. This means you can change the clutch fluid regularly without having to get under the car. Keeping the fluid clean is good preventative maintenance on these cars.
All this sounds a lot of work and it isn't exactly cheap, but when you go to the trouble of taking the gearbox off the car I would just do the lot in one go.
I think I've spent enough of your money today!!!!!!

Waiting for Brett to get back to me on a price for the LS7 kit, where can I get the quick bleed kit from?
From a different thread:
Just as an FYI, LS7 clutch, currently $223... Use the FedEx delivery option where you pay the duty in advance, excellent service, when calculating the price etc there's a How Did You Hear About Us? box, stick in 11822716576251364 for an extra 5% off as well (expires 3rd November)

Rock auto, LUK 04905 (listed as heavy duty for the GTO) It's an LS7 clutch kit just without the middle man markup. LUK being the OEM of the LS7 kit. I did loads of research and the Americans have compared the part numbers of the individual parts. It's an LS7 kit for a lot less money. I'd probably spend the extra for the aluminium flywheel though. The clutch kit is seriously heavy.
Obviously only issue is no warranty getting it from them and it would be rather expensive to send back if there is an issue. However. I was quoted over £1100 for parts alone in the UK and I got it down to £450 doing some research and buying bits on rock auto. That was for Slave /TOB, clutch kit, new pilot bearing, and rear crank seal. Spent an extra £60 on the remote bleeder from Walkinshaw.

Has got me thinking about doing mine for that price, as an FYI that kit includes the LS7 flywheel (which is pretty heavy), an alignment tool and the pilot bearing, so I think you'd just need the clutch release bearing:https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=798196...
And if you wanted to replace the slave cylinder (might as well while you're in there right...?!)

FedEx 4-5 business day shipping is about $160 USD, you sometimes have to pay 2 (or more) lots of shipping depending on if the bits in your basket are in different warehouses across the states, worth paying attention to.
That lot for me shipped (with duty / VAT paid) comes to $576, and I'd be surprised if it didn't all arrive on the 30th in my experience, they are very good.
I can tell you it’s usually a 48 hour shipping window from rockauto to the UK when using the more expensive fedex option.
Ordered Tuesday evening, was here Friday morning.
Use them for virtually everything now as it’s cheaper than UK suppliers.
Had the LS7 in mine a good while now too. It’s a bit odd when first installed unless you adjust it on a bench. Otherwise it’ll take about 500-1000 miles of daily driving type use to fully auto adjust.
Mine feels great now.
And the complete upgrade all in along with rear main seal, remote bleeder etc etc. Was sub £800 paying for a garage to fit it. As I was not lying on the ground in the snow at the time.
