Hi Dave, still reckon that’s one of the best plates I’ve seen!

C’mon, pics of your seats...

Very nice!
How does one get such seats in a Monaro? Are these custom adaptors or some on the shelve kit?
How do they compare to the standard sofa seats?

Those seats look great, you're going to have give us all the details on these.
No I'm not spending anymore money on my car as its in the dog house at the moment....and I've only momentarily thought about blowing it up!!!!!! but damn I do like those seats mind.

It says COBRA on the seat backs so that should be easy to follow up.

Hi Dave, apologies I didn't make the meet on Sunday, I was knackered after driving back from Goodwood, believe it or not I didn't get a lot of sleep in teh tent after what was a long day hehe

I'm sure Dave will give more details, but the seats are indeed Cobras, I don't remember the exact model. The seats are mounted to the original electronic bases via some fabrication. Just a simple resistor + capacitor to keep the SRS warning light at bay, details in the FAQs of course wink

From swapping the seats in mine, it makes it feel like a very different car compared to the original sofas. You're very much held in the car and for me it felt like I'd significantly changed the suspension when they were first swapped over, you get a much stronger sense of connection and being planted in the car.

Don't get me wrong, at least in my case, they are obviously not as comfortable as the old beauties, but that's a problem for future Sturdy smile

Other things to note, on mine the seat backs are significantly thinner, so rear leg room is now comically vast, and as they still tilt forward rear access is actually easier as you don't need to bring the seats forward to get in the back.

Mine are mounted on manual runners so the overall weightloss is about 30-40kg and joyously I'm now also sat about 2 inches lower in the car, which also makes a huge difference. Anyway, enough thread hogging... getmecoat

Hi, I'm sure it's been asked before but I can't find the question or answer, but what wheels are those ? they really suit the car.
