ultimate monaro build in the UK
Discussion
Mark (007) probably has the longest shopping list from monkfish and ultimately has a very well rounded car that is up there in terms of power, crisisjez and harryoz probably had the most ridiculous builds on the forum engine wise
All pretty tame compared to what the yanks do to GTOs but it's a different world out there aftermarket support wise.

Not forgetting ARNIEVXR’s tubbed twin turbo street ‘n’ strip car, I seem to recall 1100bhp mentioned and 10 second quarter mile times (for about 10 minutes before it hit the wall at least!) sorry Arnie! The only thing wrong with that car (in my opinion) was the colour. Everybody knows black ones are the fastest, eh James?

My vote would go to Wormus, he has an 800HP Interceptor.......Mad Max would be prod of that one.
Thanks. It does 100% work as a modified, daily driver pretending to be OE. Best thing Roger did was put in the LS9 clutch which is really light, the only Monaro with one to the best of my knowledge. Going to get an FI interchiller fitted in autumn. wormus said:

Yes, LSA block, crank and ported LSA heads with forged, blueprinted rods and Mahle pistons, with TVS2300 supercharger. Engine would probably take a lot more but the supercharger is at the limit of efficient airflow. It’s already traction limited with 620 whp. Racelogic traction control keeps it in shape when in the wet. In the dry it just about copes. That’s with 285s on the back.Made 824hp on Peter Knight’s engine dyno. The pulley ratios I’m using are the ones that made the most power. Spin them too fast and the blower just makes more hot air which loses power. IATs after a long WOT is about 125 deg F at 75 deg F ambient which isn’t too bad. The chiller should give more headroom, especially in summer. I’ll also ask them to delete the front Intercooler. I’ve got scan gauges so can keep an eye on all the temps, oil pressure etc.

It’s great you got there in the end. Do you need the chiller? Made 824hp on Peter Knight’s engine dyno. The pulley ratios I’m using are the ones that made the most power. As for traction the rear of the ro has a horrid setup. I’d spend money there
