Hi everyone Lovely weather today

When i tilted my gearbox to get her in it leaked some fluid out the rear seal Dont know exactly how much My best estimate is likely 300ml to max unlikely 500ml

I undid the fill plug and fluid coming out there when level

I have got some castrol transmax multivehicle will this be ok just to add a small amount

If I do need to add some fluid can any body let me know location of the back up lamp switch I also do not know how to push the fluid in

Doing this clutch has been hard work

Hopefully get there in a few mire days

Dex III is normal.

Reverse light switch is down near your left foot...well on the gearbox obviously....but to visualise when your sitting in the car.

And a long piece of pipe and patience via a squirty bottle for oil or some other adaption.

Good day

So its on the gearbox off side at the front towards the clutch

I had a look and think i found it . Its a small round fitting

When i do up again I found a torque setting of 27nmm Is it best to go a bit under this as its made of aluminium i presume

Thank u

I've used this too. Can't comment on its performance too much, nothing to tell really.

I put in about 200 Ml via the back up switch so alot more content now even if slightly out

Maybe do a full gearbox dexron III change in a couple of years

Hope the prop and exhaust go back in ok

The clutch connector union is a bxxxx

hopefully now can get the monaro ship shape and on the road 1st July

What torque is best for transmission support bolts 4 Nr, nuts 2 nr and 2nr bolts from rubber unit into transmission
