If you don't get much, a google search limited to ls1gto.com will probably turn up more info, there's a lot more of them!

https://www.google.com/search?q=clutch+change+guid...

e.g.

https://www.ls1gto.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-...

https://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114...

https://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=265...

Whilst these may not be incredibly helpful, they're often worth a read as every now and then someone will drop a little tip/trick that makes things easier smile

Make sure you take lots of pics wink

There's some pics here:

From one of those threads, this sounds like a useful tip:

i got the tranny 's input shaft to line up with the pilot bearing by getting 4 long bolts and cutting the heads off. i cut a slit in the end so i could get my screwdriver on it and screwed them into the bell housing. they became guides for getting the tranny lined up and after getting the angle right it slipped right in. i then unscrewed the bolts and bolted it up with the right bolts

I’ve not read all the above links , my input from what i know is , gearbox off bell housing first , then bell housing off engine as there’s not a lot of room , plus personally for ease of working i would use a post lift of some type to make things a lot easier to work on , i would not personally try the job on a normal jack due to access

The clutch change is pretty straight forward, but get lots of height so you can to get to everything. It really will make the job much easier.
Get the car on a lift, and as you say gearbox off first, then the bell housing.
When you remove the interior trim don't forget the little retaining screw under the front ash tray or you will snap it.
When you get the centre console trim off, you will see two bolts which hold the gear lever to the shifter, remove the gear lever this way.
Don't seperate the gear knob from the gear lever, you might snap the locating tap and it will cost a fortune for a new one.
Don't forget to fit a quick bleed kit or you will kick yourself afterwards.

There is a bd bolt on the top of the gearbox housing and as others have said take the box off of the bell housing also the prop can be tight to get off do your self a favour and get a new gearbox mount because it is easy to do it and usually they are in need of replacement
