I think most owners that used to be regulars on this site got their Ripshifters from Monkfish before they closed.
These days I would give Walkinshaw Performamce a call, they should be able to get one for you.
I paid around £490.00? for mine which included vat and fitting, but that was years ago.
Back then two types were available, a track version and a quieter road version which didn't vibrate at high rpm.
I prefer the Ripshifters to the awful standard shifter, and I eventually replaced the actual gear lever to shorten the shift even further. If you hav a VXR Monaro you won't have bother with that mod.
If you can't get a genuine Ripshifter, some owners got the B&M shifter from the states, they seemed to have good reviews, they replace the gear knob and lever unlike the Ripshifter which looks original.

Would u go race or street - irrelevant of the noise is it better to keep the gear knob lower

I hope i can get one somehow soon i got the transmission out at the moment

Ripshift with the bent/cranked handle was always a strange design, and would always feel a little odd in terms of movement.

Sikky in the US make a lot of shifters with a better mechanism that leaves a straight stick, and I think some other makes offer similar.

For the T56 obviously...not a 6060.

I have one of these and it does the job. Not as short as the Rip Shifter but it's a clunky gearbox so never going to be amazing anyway.
