It was a tough decision to get rid of the Monaro as it was the last car a bought with the advice of my dad before he passed away. But every time I got in it, i couldn’t move on so let it go.
Roger at Monkfish done a fantastic job building and maintaining it to the spec I got it to, plus the H122 SC sounded superb.
As much as I loved the GTS, I just couldn’t be doing with keeping it looking clean all the time and I hate driving a dirty car. Plus I hated the fact that every time I fancied changing something, it either took an age to source the parts, or was mega expensive.
The Z06 is a totally different ball game and ticks so many boxes straight out the box, and after going from a 6.0 to a 6.2, a 7.0 litre seemed the only way to go, plus 0-60 in 3.7 secs standard is rather fun and just keeps going through the gears, it’s a beast
