Hi,
I am trying to check the connections to my VXR8's reversing sensor unit that is located on the rear parcel shelf.
I've a PDF copy of HSV E series service/repair manual. Throughout, it refers to removing the rear seat-back to access the parcel shelf, but nowhere does it say how to remove. I've been crawling around the boot and rear seat but can't see any fixing and I’m wary of pulling and damaging.
Can anyone offer some guidance please?
Thanks, Steve

BTW. I've asked this on Facebook too ;-)

Different car but the rear seat on the Mustang has two hidden plastic clips, on the front edge - you push your finger under the front lip, find the catch and push in, allowing you to lift the front of the seat and it then pulls out.

Will try that tomorrow as off out in 20 mins and I'm bound to mess something up if I do it now!!

I'm thinking that with the rear seat out there is access to the seat back fixings (?)

Thank you

If not push-in clips, it might be like this
