VXR8 Maloo

Hi all, been a few years since I owned a VXR8 and been in this forum but some advice.

Can you still get hold of new or nearly new Maloos? If so what’s the best dealers? I remember picador in Southampton and re tuning I hear Monkfish has closed and wortec are focussing in other things?

I like the idea of the commercial tax position!

Any advice welcome.

Unlikely you'll find a new one, even a used one will be hens teeth to buy but they are out there if you look hard enough

I’m assuming vauxhall won’t import them now as there will be no new ones , im sure a number of companies will or do it yourself , walkinshaw said they will prep it for the iva or sva what ever it’s now called , importing yourself will save a lot of money , or be patient and wait for what comes up for sale over here

Mark at Mwp has 2 late ones , 1 is a Lsa one a N/a , both clean & good bloke not like some of the bell ends

I could be wrong but i don't think Vauxhall imported them in the first place

They did and rebadged them , they told another company... not to bring them in any more when they were doing it too

MW Performance? Couple VXR8s but didn’t see a Maloo. Will give them a call Monday as well as Walkinshaw and see what the options are!

MW Performance have definately got a red LSA Maloo, it was in their showroom when i was there less than 2 weeks ago - it's a gorgeous thing, i'm not sure whether it's actually for sale or not.....you can only ring and ask them.

+1 for MWP. good company, they answer the phone and are very helpful, unlike some of the others.........

I saw it at MWP it is as new but it is Marks own car but no harm in asking if he will sell it.
