Hi I have a 2015 supercharged gts and wondered if anyone knew the answer to this. It has the factory fitted bi modal exhaust and sounds great on start up but in any mode (sport track performance) the exhaust valve closes at around 1400 revs is there any way the valve can be made just to stay open I don’t really want to spend 3k on a cat back exhaust any help would be great.

Thanks

Alex

Yes it’s quite easy to have it loud all the time, pop the engine cover off, at the front left of the engine as you look at it with bonnet up, you will see a black plastic pipe about 8mm in diameter, in that pipe you will see a small round non return valve, just pop the valve from the pipe and turn it round, the exhaust will be in the loud mode all the time,

Where that non return valve sits I fitted a small automated valve, I can open or close mine with a small remote fob in the car

All sorted read a couple of other forums and removed relay R10 with the valve open and now it stays open, what sort of back boxes did you fit out of interest?
