Longtime since I've posted redundancy and life got in the way.

Looking for some help. Now living on the Isle of Man and went to local vauxhall dealer 100k mile service, their response was a what? So second option a local mechanic who I trust, he got the old boy through his import check. So was going to Monkfish for their 50k service package, and found out they had closed. Does anyone else do a service package? Also will need a power steering pump.

Do you drive a red VXR? I was at the TT races last year and spotted a guy stood next to one in Ramsey I think as we were taking in a lap

Contact these people [team@vauxhallsuperstore.co.uk I got 3 Monaro VXR GM original filters for around £7 each, delivered to door in a few days.

Hope this helps, and I think they also stock other items for our cars.

Thanks Ade, it was a royal Purple I had ordered, even paid an extra £1 to get it in plenty of time! Will learn from my mistake and order my next service items WELL in advance!

Not sure I have posted this place before. I have used them in Oz, but the US Chevy SS guys seem happy with the postage, ie speed and cost.
They don't have original GM parts but have the aftermarket covered with consumable spare parts for Monaro and Commodores.

Failing that I raid Rockauto.

Thanks Barking very nice of you to say that, I used monkfish but me and my friend with the R8 are on the boat on Monday for a trip to the UK to get them serviced we are using mw performance in Saltney this time, he did say that he held the fast moving parts but to be fair not to the extent monkfish did.

Not sure if it's bad form to use real names shunter, hopefully see you around this summer, my brother is over for his usual 2 and a half weeks for TT and I will be getting dragged around.

Hi Stewart, Alex and I drove past your house yesterday as we were over for half term with the kids. I was going to recommend Top Cats in Aylesbury as a few of us take our cars there now. If you need anything let me know, we are back over TT practice week. smile

As we are around friends I am sure it's ok to use names Andy, I am sure we will bump in to each other soon but you know where we are if you want to call in. Now Paul you were over and didn't call in tut tut your attendance needs to improve but thanks for your kind offer as we do need a new king size mattress if you could bring that over.

Sorry, not deliberate. been so busy fitting out the flat. I spent a day tiling the shower on Tues and another getting the car (our little Toyota) to pass the road worthiness test after it failed! Now bike and car have Manx plates which makes things a bit easier. Would love to see you both, you are welcome in Peel or we can meet at the the Crosby for a meal if you like? We are over every 6-8 weeks now. PM me if you are about May 27th - June 2nd.

Only joking I fully understand,it's quite normal for vehicles to fail our test,, I am sure we can sort out something when roads open as that is practice week.
