Today I got the latest software update on my Snap on diagnostics which included loads of American & Australian cars including HOLDEN !,! Under the Holden heading it lists most models from 1984 onwards including the monaro! I’ve tried it on my monaro & I can access Engine, transmission, power train interface, ABS & tc, airbag, Alarm, Audio, body control module, climate control & instruments. Under these headings I could read & clear fault codes, read live data & operate various components & key programming. So basically any garage with a snap on diagnostic kit with this latest software update will be able to do this

Is this potentially awesome as it suggests?

Well it’s very handy as it makes problems a lot easier to sort out mate

What I was getting at was not all Vauxhall dealerships' Tech 2 system could "look at" Monaros.
And there aren't any specialists anywhere near me.

Hi snap on Solus ultra but any of the snap on range with the latest 18.2 software will have the same coverage

Thanks for that, my local garage doesn't have a Tech2 but may well have this one.
