Short shifter

Hi I’ve bought a cosmos racing short shifter off someone (its new) but has no instructions. Fitting it looks ok-ish but wanted to know about adjusting throw stops ? Is it a case of putting into gear then adjusting stops for very small clearance ? Any advice appreciated Thanks shaun

All fitted & working well. The 2 front bolts were a pig to get out though
